As a Twin Cities resident I had the great privilege of attending the RNC last night. Thanks to the Wisconsin delegation, I was able to spend 30 minutes on the floor. I was revved up for hours afterward.
No matter your party preference, the experience of attending a convention is something all US citizens should have. I have great respect for everyone involved, from the nominees all the way down to the precinct chairman attending as a delegate. Democracy and participation are things we should not take for granted.
I'm proud a citizen of the USA.
